As Far As The East
What was it? I can't remember
All I can remember is the hill
The roughness of the timber
And the piercing of the steel
As far as the East is from the West
I will remember no more this day
Any of your sins
Talking about things past?
All I heard was the prayer
Which will forever last
For it is covered by my love
As far as the East is from the West
I will remember no more this day
Any of your sins
Dwelling on sins of Yesterday?
I see the glory of the resurrection
The work I finished that day
Receive this day my promise
As far as the East is from the West
I will remember no more this day
Any of your sins
